International Development Bank Brings Eid Joy to Orphans Through the "Eid Clothing" Humanitarian Initiative, Reaffirming Its Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility

Driven by its steadfast commitment to corporate social responsibility and its role in supporting various segments of society, the International Development Bank (IDB) launched the "Eid Clothing" humanitarian initiative on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha. This initiative specifically targeted orphanages, aiming to share the joy of Eid with the children and provide them with a deeply human experience that enhances feelings of care and belonging.

The initiative involved taking the children to choose their own Eid clothes in an atmosphere filled with love and care. The bank's team and volunteers were fully dedicated to transforming the occasion into an experience full of joy and human warmth, truly embodying the initiative's core message that the joy of Eid is every child's right.

This initiative comes as part of the corporate social responsibility programs consistently implemented by the International Development Bank. These programs aim to support the most vulnerable groups and strengthen the values of community solidarity through initiatives that leave a positive and sustainable impact, extending far beyond the limits of financial support.

Mr. Wissam Al-Amiri, Director of the Marketing and Sales Department at the International Development Bank, stated: "At the International Development Bank, we firmly believe that true investment begins with human development, and that supporting children and future generations is an essential part of our mission to contribute to building a more cohesive and sustainable society. From this standpoint, we are keen to extend our responsibility far beyond banking services, to include humanitarian initiatives that reinforce the values of solidarity and grant hope to those who need it most."

The International Development Bank continues to implement its community initiatives across various Iraqi governorates, stemming from its belief that the role of national institutions is not limited to providing financial services, but extends to actively contributing to community development and consolidating the culture of shared responsibility. This makes humanitarian occasions an ideal opportunity to spread hope and draw a smile on the faces of children and families most in need.
